The Marketplace Component can be used to buy and sell products or services using your app. You can invite users to sign up as buyers and sellers, and enable the sellers to list their products & services and sell them on your app.
The following sections are available under the "Marketplace" component:
Add Marketplace Component
To start with, you need to first add the Marketplace component to your Beezer app. Please login to your Beezer Dashboard and follow the instructions below:
Step 1: To add the Marketplace component, please click on the Build section of your Beezer dashboard and click on the Pages section.
Create a new Standard page by clicking the + sign next to the Pages option.
Step 2: Once you have added a new page, click on the + sign next to your page title. You will be shown all the existing components available for your Beezer subscription plan.
Click on the Marketplace tab and select Marketplace Products and Services component. Click Add Marketplace component button to add it to your selected page.
Step 3: After adding the Marketplace component, you need to configure the settings. Please click on the Business Tools section of your Beezer dashboard where you will find all settings for the Marketplace under the "Enable Marketplace" section.
As a Marketplace admin, you can set up the number of days after which your Marketplace app sellers will get their payouts. Learn how to do that here.
Before the sellers start adding products, it is important for the app admin to set up a few things under the Settings section. Please navigate to the "Settings" option inside Business Tools -> Marketplace section and update the following:
- Product Approval - Enable this toggle if you want to approve all products before they are visible in your marketplace app.
- Product email updates - Enable this toggle if you want to receive product updates via email. You will receive an email every time a product/service is added or modified. You can also set a different email for receiving these updates if you want to receive these at an alternate email address.
- Currency - Currency type which you want to accept via your marketplace app.
- Vendor Approval - Enable this toggle if you want to approve all vendors/sellers before they can start listing products or services on your marketplace.
- Vendor email updates - Enable this toggle if you want to receive vendor updates via email. You will receive an email every time a vendor is added or modified. You can also set an email for receiving these updates, if you want to receive these at an alternate email address.
- Vendor Policy Link - You can add a URL for your marketplace vendor policy, which your vendors need to accept to sell on your marketplace app.
- Enable Payments - Enable this toggle to accept payments for products and services via your marketplace app.
- Stripe Public Key - Enter your Stripe account public key to receive payments in your Stripe account.
- Stripe Secret Key - Enter your Stripe account secret key to receive payments in your Stripe account.

- Transaction Fee - You can set a transaction fee for each product/service sale from your app. Please make sure you consider the Stripe transaction fee for each transaction while adding the Transaction Fee percentage for your marketplace app.
- Payout Schedule - As a Marketplace admin, you can set up the number of days after which your Marketplace app sellers will get their payouts. Click here to learn more about payouts.
The Buyers section will show you all the registered app users of your marketplace app.
To check the profile of the buyer, just click on the Buyer's name and it will show you their details.
You can also delete, download all buyer data, or email them in bulk by selecting them and clicking on the 3 horizontal dots on the right-hand-side corner of your screen.
The Sellers section will show you all the vendors/sellers who have listed their products on your marketplace app.
Once your app user registers as a seller, you will receive a notification via email.
You can also navigate to Business Tools -> Sellers section on your Beezer dashboard to check all sellers from your marketplace app. All new (unapproved) sellers will show as Pending under the Sellers section.
To approve the seller, click on the seller's name and then click Approve Vendor on the next screen.
You can also send a message while approving or rejecting the vendor. Once you click on Confirm, the vendor will get approved and can start selling on your app.
Once the seller is approved, they can start listing products on your marketplace app. Each new product listed by them will need the app admin's approval. You can either approve the products via the Products & Services section or visit the Sellers section, click on the seller and see the listed products.
Click on the product that you want to approve (which shows pending).
On the next page, you can either approve or reject the product.
You can also send a message while approving or rejecting the product.
Once you click on the Confirm button, the seller will be notified via email and the product will be available for purchase in your marketplace app.
Products & Services
This section will list all the products and services which are available on your marketplace app.
When an approved seller/vendor adds a product, the app admin will get notified via email.
The app admin can also check the added products under Products & Services section and approve them.
To approve a product, click on its name and click Approve Product button on the next screen.
You can also send a message to the seller while approving the product.
The product status will now show as Approved under the Products & Services section.
You can download or delete selected products by clicking on the three horizontal dots on the top right-hand-side corner of your screen.
You can also filter the products based on the Product Status.
You can create product categories under which the sellers can list their products. To add a new category, click on the + sign next to your profile icon at the top right-hand side of your screen.
You need to add the category name and description in the pop-up box as displayed below:
All new categories you create will be displayed under the Business Tools -> Marketplace - Categories section.
While adding products, the sellers of the marketplace app can select the specific category under which the product falls.
The buyers from your app can filter products based on the product category.
How to sell on your marketplace app
For a seller or vendor to start selling on your marketplace, they first need to register as an app user by signing up on your marketplace app.
When you click on the app page, on which the Marketplace component is added, you will see the signup page.
Once you signup on to the app, you can visit the Marketplace zone by clicking on the 3 vertical dots at the top right-hand-side corner of your app.
Please scroll the top menu horizontally and click on Sell Products & Services option.
Please add/upload your image and complete the seller profile.
Once you click Save, you need to connect to the Stripe account to receive payments for the sold products and services.
Note: The Marketplace admin needs to enable Stripe Connect to start accepting and giving payments to sellers. You won't be able to signup as a seller unless the Stripe setup has been done by the admin. Stripe connect can be enabled by referring to this article.
You will be redirected to the Stripe website, where you must enter all details related to your own Stripe account.
Once your Stripe account is set up, you need to wait for the marketplace app admin to approve you as a seller.
Once you are approved, you will receive a confirmation email and your marketplace app will give you the option to add products.
Click on the Add Products button to start adding new products.
You can add multiple images for the product, add its Name, Subtitle, Description, Price, Stock quantity available, Location and Delivery type (Home Delivery, Pickup). If you want to make the product active for sale, please change the Product Status to Active and click Add Product button.
The added product will now show under Sell Products & Services section but will be under Pending status. The marketplace admin will receive a notification about the added product and once they approve the product, it will become available for purchase on the app.
You can keep adding other products without waiting for approval.
Once your product is approved, you will get notified via email. Your product will also show as Approved under the Sell Product & Services section.
The product will also show under the marketplace section to all app users.
The app users can buy the product by clicking on it and then clicking on the Buy Now button. They can also check the seller profile or contact the seller, in case they have any questions regarding the product.
Purchased products can be checked under Sold Products & Services section under the Marketplace zone. The seller will also get an email notifying them about the sale.
Once the order is delivered, you can change the status of your order by clicking on it.
Seller can change the order status to Pending Delivery, Shipped or Delivered.
When a buyer contacts you regarding any product, you will be notified in your app.
You can visit the Marketplace Zone and click on Chats to see all buyer conversations. Clicking on the buyer will show you all the chats/product inquiries and you can reply to the buyers directly.
How to buy products and services via your marketplace app
To see all available products and make a purchase, you need to signup or sign into the app. Please visit the app page where the Marketplace component has been added and sign in.
Once you sign in, you will see the products available on the marketplace app.
To purchase a product, you can click on it. You will see the product details and can contact the seller, check the seller profile or directly buy the product by clicking on the Buy Now button.
When the seller/vendor replies to your chat message, you will be notified inside your app.
Once you click on the Buy Now button on the product page, you can add the delivery address, contact information, and card details and click on Pay button. The order will show under the Purchases section of your profile.
To check all your purchases, you can click on the 3 vertical dots at the top of your app screen and click on Marketplace Zone. All purchased orders will show under the Purchases section of your profile.
Once your product is shipped, you will be notified via email.
You can also save a product to your wish list to purchase it later. All saved products will be visible under your Marketplace Zone -> Saved Products & Services section.
