Use the Radio Streaming component to stream music continuously while your users are navigating around your app. And you don't need to be a radio to make use of this feature ;)
To add Radio Streaming to your Beezer app, please follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Please click on the Build section of your Beezer Dashboard and click on Pages section. You can either select an existing page, or click the + sign to add a new page.
Step 2: Once you have added or selected the page on which you wish to add the Radio Streaming component, click on the + sign next to your page title.
Step 3: You will be shown all the existing components available for your Beezer subscription plan. Select the Radio Streaming component and click Add Radio Streaming Component button at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: You will see the settings page of the Radio Streaming component once its added to the app page. Under the Content tab, you can enter the Radio Streaming URL in the designated field. You can also change the Play and Pause button titles.
Note: The Radio Streaming URL must be of the streaming audio and not of the Radio website, else it won't work. You can use the "Inspect page" option from your browser and find "stream" inside the HTML page to get the streaming URL. You can also contact the Radio Station to get the streaming URL. (Example URL : http://sc5.radiocaroline.net:8010/stream)
Step 5: To test the Radio Streaming functionality, Publish your app and open it on your Desktop/Mobile. Click on the Play icon at the top right corner of the app as shown below.
Note: Unless paused, the music will continue to play while the app user navigates through different sections of the app.
For Android mobile users, the music will play in the background of the mobile device even after they navigate out of the app.
For IOS mobile users, the music will stop playing when they navigate out of the app (Sorry! Restriction from Apple).
Please Publish your app once you have made the changes, so they get reflected on your mobile app successfully.
