Nested page allows you to nest a page within another page of your app.
For example, you can create a main page "Social" and nest all social media pages for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram within this page.
To create a Nested page, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Log in to your Beezer Dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to the Build section and click Pages.
Step 3. Click on the + sign next to the Pages section. If you have not created the main page, under which you want to nest pages, create the main page as a Standard page. Once main page is created, again click the + sign next to the Pages section under Build to create the nested page.
Step 4: Select "Nested Page" option and click Next.
Step 5: Give a title to the nested page and select the Parent page from the drop-down menu. Click Add Page button.
Step 6: Your nested page will be displayed under the parent page in the Build -> Pages section.
Step 7: Now click on nested page and add any component by clicking on the + sign next to the page title.
Step 8: Add any component which you want to be displayed on the nested page. In the below example, we are adding the Facebook component.
Step 6: This component will be displayed on the nested page. The nested page will be displayed under the parent page you selected.
On the Appshell, your app menu will show the nested page as below:
Change an existing Standard page into a Nested page.
You can also nest existing pages inside another page. Just navigate to the page under Build -> Pages section of your Beezer Dashboard.
Select the desired page and click on the settings option.
Change the page type to "Nested Page" from the drop-down menu.
Once you select Nested Page, you should also specify the Parent page under which this page will be nested. This will nest the page under the selected Parent page.
Sorting nested pages.
You can also sort the nested pages by dragging and dropping them inside the parent page.
Note: You can also change the Parent page of the Nested page later.
Please Publish your app once you have made the changes, so they get reflected on your mobile app successfully.
