Notifications can be sent to user's of your app through the Engage section of the Beezer dashboard.
When you send a Notification you can send a short Title (60 characters) and a message (280 characters). You can also optionally choose to provide a link to a Page of your Beezer app or to an external webpage. When users click the link in the Notifications area they will be taken to that page in the app or external site.
Notifications Area
The notifications area will show all new notifications. If you click on a notification that has a link, you will be taken to the Page of the app or an external web page (outside of the app).
You can choose 'Mark all as read' which will hide the red notifications number badge.
Notifications on Android
On Android devices, users can choose to Allow or Block push notifications. If users Allow push notifications they will see notifications appear on their homescreen of their device even when they are not using the app.
Notifications on iOS
Notifications are seen in-app on iOS. A red notification badge will appear with the number of unread notifications in the corner of the app. When users mark their notifications as read, the badge will disappear. iOS does not currently support Push Notifications for Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
